Warranty Information – AC Stainless

Coverage:
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions. If any issues arise due to faulty materials or installation within the warranty period, AC Stainless will repair or replace the affected components at no cost to the customer.

Important Maintenance Information:
All stainless steel will discolour, stain, or rust if not maintained correctly. Even marine-grade 316 stainless steel or Duplex 2205 will discolour and stain if installed in an aggressive environment and not maintained properly. The more aggressive the environment, the more maintenance is required.

• Coastal      areas exposed to sea spray
• Locations      downwind from rubbish dumps or chemical plants
• Properties      near main roads with excessive carbon monoxide exposure
• Areas      near mining dumps and filtration plants
• Installations      below air conditioner units, wooden beams, or steel gutters
• Surfaces      washed with certain chemicals used on glass or tiles
• Exposure      to some borehole waters

• Stainless      steel should be washed down at least monthly with a mild cleaning      solution.
• This      removes grime that could contaminate the surface and cause discolouration.
• Do      not use aggressive cleaning solutions unless you are an experienced      and professional tradesperson.
• Avoid      using acids, powders, sodas, grinding discs, abrasive papers, or cloths     unless handled by a professional.
• A      simple wash-down and rinse is sufficient to maintain the stainless steel’s      appearance and durability.

Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:

• Damage      due to misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance
• Normal      wear and tear, corrosion, or environmental factors beyond our control
• Modifications,      repairs, or alterations made by third parties
